Pottery - San Ildefonso Avanyu Serpent by Rose Gonzales, CPOTRUD22-04

A San Ildefonso pot with Avanyu Serpent by Rose Gonzales(1900-1989). This pot measures 8 inches in height and 5 3/4 inches in diameter. Rose is from San Juan and married Robert Gonzales and moved in with his family. She learned how to make pottery from his mother. She makes black on black designed pots and deep carved as well. This one is in good condition. It is signed on the bottom.
