Pam taught for forty years n Northern Arizona and now has the opportunity to combine anthropological studies at the University of Arizona with her passion for sewing. She was guided in her research by knowledgeable professors and inspired by the beauty of the fibers used by indigenous people across the globe.
Pam rescues old weavings that can no longer be repaired and uses bits of them to create new pieces of art, salvaging gems that would otherwise be discarded.
In doing this, she preserves ancient arts and captures memories for the future.
