A small Santa Clara pot with Kokopelli design by Jody Naranjo Smith(B. 1969). Jody is very active in the pottery world. She has many family members that are potters. She also has won many awards for he creative designs. This pot is one many that have the two tone colors used. She has etched the Kokopelli around the pot. Kokopelli is well know in the pueblo world and even among other tribes. It this design he is being depicted as a musician that brings great joy and happiness. This pot measures 2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches in height. This piece is in excellent shape and is signed on the bottom.

We have been visiting and shopping at Toh-Atin for over twenty years. Always loved visiting with Jackson and his mother. We would spend hours gathering information on rugs, jewelry, and baskets- what a tremendous inventory. Everyone was so knowledgeable. We have so many memorable pieces. Jackson asked my husband, " How often do you get compliments on your tie?" We bought a very nice bolo! :)
We had just seen and visited with Jackson two weeks earlier and were so saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. What a loss to friends, family, and community. Our deepest condolences to his family and to the staff.
