  • A San Juan/Santa Clara pot with Avanyu serpent by Linda Tafoya-Oyenque. Linda is the granddaughter of Margaret Tafoya. She lived in San Juan Pueblo when she was married. There she was inspired by San Juan designs and micaceous clay. This pot has a deep carve of the Avanyu Serpent. It has two layers of micaceous clay when a high shine black. This pot measures 6 1/4 inches in diameter and 4 1/4 inches in height. It is in good condition.
