A framed Navajo Yeibichai Dancer by Harrison Begay(1917-2012). Harrison was a prolific painting of his time. He is from the flat painting era where Natives themes were painted. He painted ceremonial figures and landscape in his theme. Most of his work is from memory and from growing up traditionally. This piece loosely represents a Yeibichai dancer. However, the meaning goes deeper as far as which Holy being is being depicted in this scene. This framed piece measures 19 1/4 inches in length and 15 1/4 inches in width. It is signed on the bottom.
