Navajo Weaving - Vintage Klagetoh Pound Rug, C009813

A vintage Navajo Klagetoh pound rug. This weaving was created around the 1930s. It was purposely created to be heavy with thicker wool strands. Traders at the time would buy by the pound which inspired this piece. This weaving has natural colors with aniline dyed red. It does has some stains on some parts. There are no holes in this weaving. It measures 87 inches in length and 44 inches wide. The weaver's name is not attached.
