Navajo Weaving - Alice Begay, 006485

Red Ribbon Winner at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup, New Mexico in August 2023. Alice won 2 ribbons at the this show.  Alice has titled this piece "The Weavers".  All hand spun wool in natural browns, grays and white with vegetal and aniline dyed finely spun yarns.  It is no wonder that Alice won 2 awards at the Gallup Ceremonial her weavings are so fine and detailed.
