Ursula Begay is one of the youngest Burnham weavers and was taught by her mother Sandy Begay. This new piece is titled " Friends are Like Sunshine in the Garden of Life".Ursula has placed a man and woman in the center of the weaving with red flowers and red hearts. In this weaving she has used a variety of hand spun wool from her aunts, some are natural colors of the sheep in dark brown, carded gray and white, there is also vegetal dyes and aniline dyed yarns.
