Navajo Weaving - Laverne Barber ,Burnham, 006387

Titled, "Auction Day". Laverne paints images with wool in her creative and imaginative weavings. In this weaving she has  two couples holding Navajo rugs in the mountain areas of Monument Valley, Utah. The Burnham area weavers are known for their modern pictorial style, usually with some elements that resemble the Two Grey Hills design as well as the color palette of brown, gray white and black.
