Two of our most popular Holiday events are this weekend. On Friday, December 7, from 5 until 9 pm, join us for Noel Night, a Durango tradition with 10% discount on everything in the gallery and a special Sales Room with 20% to 70% discounts.
Noel night is always special with Darryl Kuntz, legendary keyboard master, playing your favorite Christmas Carols. Leather artist and jeweler Eric Hodges will be showing his work along with pottery artist Norman Lansing!
You can find gifts with meaning from the selection of quality Indian and Southwest Arts and Crafts at Toh-Atin! Jolean Scott
While we want you to visit the gallery, in the spirit of the Holiday Season we are asking for your help. The Scott family has been friends of ours for nearly fifty years. Nine-year-old Jolean Scott of Bayfield was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in June following a swim meet. Now, nearly six months later, she is bravely facing and fighting her disease. She took her first steps recently and swims daily although limited to the use of one side of her body. Her goal is to walk by Christmas and her doctors have been amazed at how well she is doing. They are trying to get her into an experimental trial. Her family has faced huge challenges and on Noel Night and during the Artisan Showcase, we are asking for your financial support. We are giving away two Leland Holiday wood paintings of your choice. Anyone who contributes any amount to Jolean’s fund will receive a ticket to put in the pot for 2 drawings. One will be held at 9 p.m. at the end of Noel Night and the other will be held Saturday at 5:30 pm. You do not need to be present. We appreciate your help!
If you are out of the area but would like to donate, please call the gallery at 970 946-0882.
Saturday is our annual Christmas Artisan Showcase! Please join us from 10 am until 5 pm. Peter Ray James will be in the gallery with his fabric art and fine art paintings.
