Margaret Gutierrez and Luther Gutierrez were brother and sister from Santa Clara Pueblo, NM. They collaborated in making polychrome style of painting that they learned from their parents; Lela and Van Gutierrez. Their slips are unique in color and combination. This wedding vase has the red and tan slip as base colors. Their detail on the vase is complex with fine lines. It has thick walls like their other pieces.
