San Juan Pottery- Rosita Cata, CPOTMBG13-07

Rosita Cata makes polychrome carved and incised redware bowls and her favorite designs are zigzag triangles, concentric triangles and clouds. She makes impressive redware pottery with stunning shapes and uses traditional designs. Also, she reintroduced style of incised pottery. She makes polychrome carved pottery with matte paint designs(Schaaf, pg. 241).

This is a  San Juan pot that is signed by Rosita Cata. This pot has a geometric pattern at the rim with red slip on the bottom. This pot has no damages to it. An elegant pot to add to your collection.
