A vintage Isleta Pueblo pitcher pot with dragonflies and Avanyu Serpent. This piece is gathered clay that is hand coiled. The paint is made from natural minerals. It has a crude designs that were probably made used a yucca brush. The serpent and dragonflies both associate with water. Even the form of a pitcher all play into the importance for rain. This piece measures 4 3/4 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches wide. This piece is unsigned.
