A Jemez Pueblo woman storyteller by Lyda Toya. There isn't a lot of information about Lyda. This piece is handmade with gathered clay and natural paint pigments. There are six children with maybe a dog. The mother's mouth is open to indicate that she is singing or sharing stories. This piece measures 6 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches wide. This piece is in excellent condition.
