A Isleta Pueblo storyteller by Mona Teller. Mona was born in 1960 and has been creating pottery since her 20's. She creates storytellers, nativity sets and other figures. She creates her pieces using the traditional methods which are gathering the clay and using natural pigments. This piece features a mother with her five children. Her mouth is open to show that she is sharing stories or singing songs. This piece measures 4 3/4 inches in height and 3 3/4 inches wide. This piece is signed. It is in excellent condition.
