  • Marjorie Spencer began weaving in her 20's, which is late for most weavers born in the 1930s. She was born in Chambers, AZ in 1936. Marjorie has weavings in the Heard Museum and the Denver Art Museum, and is featured in many publications from the 1970s-1990s.  All her weavings are of fine hand spun wool in intricate banded patterns in natural browns, grays, white and tans with vegetal dyed golds and greens.  This weaving is in excellent condition.
