  • The yarn is vegetal dyed all hand spun wool and woven into the Wide Ruins style. This weaving is attributed to Jim Houses's wife. The textile is coming from the original collection of Sallie Wagner Lippincott.  Sallie owned the Wide Ruins Trading Post in the 1940's and helped teach vegetal dying methods to the Navajo weavers in the area.
