Navajo Weaving - Vintage Teec Nos Pos Ca. 1940s, C010046

A vintage Navajo Teec Nos Pos weaving. This weaving is dated around 1940s. It is a mix of natural wool and aniline dyes. The wool is all handspun. The cream, grey and some brown colors are natural. The red, black, olive green and purple colors are aniline dyes. This weaving has a interesting plant effigy around the border. Also, Eagle feathers that connect to the center image. The center image almost looks like a Yei or some type of spiritual being. This piece is faded but there is no holes or damage to the sides. The weaver is unknown.
