A Navajo storm pattern weaving by Anthony Tallboy. Anthony is a Navajo medicine man that weaves Ganado weavings, Storm Patterns and other serrated designs. He uses aniline dyed wool in his weavings. His design includes the central piece that has the universe or the heavens. From that comes lightning that connects to the four directions. The zigzag lines represent thunder. It has a waterbug on the top and the bottom. This piece measures 42 inches in length and 29 inches wide. This piece is in excellent condition.
