Old Style weaving reminiscent of the early 1900s Germantown textiles which were brightly colored rugs woven with mill spun wool from Germantown, PA. The wool came down to the Navajo Nation when the trains provided easy transport of goods from the NE to the SW. Arlene has recreated this banded rug with a bright color palette and Old Style design with the Spider Woman Crosses. This handsome weaving would be a great rug or decorative throw.
