Bolo Tie - Bronze & Horsehair "Under the Portal" by Doug Hyde. Doug Hyde (Nez Perce, Assiniboine, Chippewa) draws inspiration from the stories and teachings passed down by his grandfather and tribal elders. Working primarily in stone and bronze. He creates pieces with  Native mythology themes by using powerful sculptural forms. His work has been collected by the White House and the Smithsonian, and he continues to mentor Native artists while creating sculptures for tribal cultural centers. This bolo measures 2 3/4 inches in length and 2 inches wide. The tie measures 44 inches in length.
