The katsina Morningstar(Talavai) is usually seen in pairs on the rooftops and sing songs waling people in the village. This framed sandpainting measures 29 inches in length and 25 inches wide. The frame is wood with a felt mat board around the original sandpainting. This piece is signed on the back.
