All hand spun wool in natural white, grey and dark brown. There is some yellow vegetal dyed wool as well as an aniline red. Gallup Throw weavings were made for the early tourists coming out West, they are an exception in Navajo weaving as they have one end that is fringed. To accommodate for the volume weavers used a cotton warp and it was cut and tied or knotted at the one end. Measures 2.5 by 3 feet in size. Condition is very good.
