A Tohono O'odham dog basket made out of beargrass, yucca, and devil's claw. These types of baskets are aimed toward tourist and weren't necessarily utilitarian. Its a contemporary piece that utilizes traditional techniques that are shared among the Tohono O'odham and Pima tribes. The body is hollowed out and the head is not detachable. The head was made separate for the execution process. A handcrafted piece to add to your collection.
