Tohono o'odham Basket with Handles, CBASSM13-33

A Tohono o'odham basket made out of willow and devil's claw. This basket has a four square knot visible on the bottom and has a plaited rectangle on the inside of the basket. These techniques are shared between the Tohono O'odham and Pima people. This basket is sturdy and has little wear. For example, the left side of under handle has a broken willow stem but still holds together. A well made piece to add to your collection.
