  • "The Avenger" a bronze sculpture by Kevin McCarthy. This young warriors is riding with a mission to avenge his tribe.  Raids were common in this time period and sometimes took place hundreds of miles from their home. There is movement in the sculpture and the young man is wearing beaded moccasins, turquoise heishi necklace and bracelet and is holding a decorated spear.
