Margaret Gutierrez and Luther Gutierrez were brother and sister from Santa Clara Pueblo NM. They collaborated in making polychrome style of painting. They learned from their parents; Lela and Van Gutierrez. Their slips are unique in color and combinations. This turtle has animal motifs on the back. It has personality and the character sets it apart from traditional pottery. A fine piece to add to your collection.
