  • Florence Aguilar Naranjo was born on 10/4/1921. She is the daughter of Rosalie Simbola Aguilar and Jose Angeles Agilar. She was making pottery in 1940. She made black on black jars, bowls and rugs. She entered the Santa Fe Indian market 1978-1980 and 1986 and won awards for her pottery and rug ( Schaaf, pg. 210). This bowl has a design at the rim that wraps around the pot. There are fine hairline cracks at the rim and around the bottom of the bowl. It is still whole with no other damages. A handmade bowl to add to your collection.
