Charlotte and Doug Vigil are married potters that learned from Doug's parents; Albert and Josephine Vigil. Also Doug's grandmother is Juanita Montoya who is the sister to Maria Martinez. The family gathers clay from the San Ildefonso reservation and fire their own pots in a fire pit. This pot features the cream on red pottery which is one of Charlotte's speciality styles. It is a well made pot with no cracks in it. It is common for husband and wife to work together on pots. A unique pot with history to add to your collection.
