  • A Taos Pueblo micaceous "Corn Maiden" by Bernice Suazo-Naranjo. Bernice is well known for her detailed sgraffito designs on brown or sienna colored pots. This piece has a sgraffito design on bottom sides. On one side it has a high polished tone. It measures 9 1/2 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches at the widest. It came with a card that describes this pot was entered the Eight Northern Pueblo Arts and Crafts Fair in July 15, 1989. It is in good shape. The signature is on the bottom.
