  • Nicolasa Naranjo (1907-2002) came from a long line of distinguished Santa Clara potters.  Nicolasa had a long and successful career.  In her later years was known to work with her daughter Roberta Naranjo.  The unique shape of this black on black vessel shows her level of innovation and expertise.  The three sided pot has the same design on each side and the bottom is signed Nicolasa Santa Clara.
