All hand painted and decorated South West figure by Lona Warne from Farmington New Mexico. The Kachina like figure has a tablita headdress and is adorned with shells, stones, feathers and leather to create a visual feast. Lona has been making gourd art for 30 years. She studied under Robert Rivera for two years. This piece has a lot of mixed materials from various Southwest tribes. A significant piece to add to your SW collection.
