An original watercolor painting, "Traditional Portrait" by Navajo artist, Beverly Blacksheep. This painting won a First Place ribbon in 1988 at Navajo Nation Fair. Beverly is known for her style that is seen mostly in legend painters like Beatien Yazz and Pablita Velarde. She uses geometric designs which represent weaving designs. She currently has her own family owned business and sells her work out of Window Rock, AZ. This framed painting measures 21 1/4" in length and 18 1/4 inches wide. It has mat boards as a border with a glass over the painting. The painting alone measures 15 1/2 inches in length and 12 3/4 inches in width.
