Alice Van Winkle began weaving in the 1960's. All hand spun wool in natural creamy white and carded grays with vegetal dyed yarns and an aniline black. Three Yei figures hold corn and ribbon dance streamers in a soft warm beige color field. The outer borders have black and grey butterflies in an off white background. Condition is like new.
