A Navajo Tree of Life weaving by Arlene Johnson. This weaving has commercially processed and dyed wool. It has nine warps and thirty-four wefts (doubled) per inch. It was purchased at the Rug Auction, Crownpoint, NM, on May 24, 1996. This weaving has nice soft earthy colors in the background. The birds pop out against these tones. A beautiful weaving that can be hung on the wall.
