Pine Springs weavings come from the same area of the Navajo Nation as Wide Ruin and Chinle the styles that are known for vegetal dying of the yarns. Elsie Murphy has achieved a varied palette of colors of the Southwest landscape and sunsets. Wide Ruins are banded and striped rugs that don't have borders. Measuring close to 2.5 by 4.5 this beautiful banded weaving would be perfect as a wall hanging.
