Navajo Weaving, Pictorial, C006305A

Pictorial weaving featuring Kokopelli and sheep measures 31 1/2 by 27 1/2 inches.

  • Made with neutral shades of hand spun wool with an aniline black.  This unique little Pictorial would be a stunning wall hanging.   Woven by Lavita Etcity , this weaving has Kokopelli dancing across the rug surrounded by sheep in many colors.  Both sheep and Kokopelli represent prosperity and fertility.  Sheep represent wealth in the Navajo culture.  Kokopelli is the caller of the rains which is good for sheep staples of the Native people.
