  • All natural hand spun yarn in white, carded grey, aniline red and brown.  The Gallup Throw weavings were produced using a cotton warp that was cut and tied off. This allowed the weaver to produce several pieces on the same warp system. Gallup throw rugs are the only Navajo textiles that are not a continual wool warp. Popularized in the 1940's to service the tourist coming out West on the train. This rug is in like new condition.
