Navajo Weaving - Burnham, 006268

"Standing Together" is what Alice Begay has titled this weaving.  Each couple is standing on top of a different rug design.  The gray haired elders are on top of a First Phase Chief Wearing Blanket style, the next couple is on a Two Grey Hills rug and then there is a Yei style weaving and the last couple is on a Burnham.  Alice is telling a story of the evolution of the Burnham style which she and her sisters created.
