A Navajo banded pictorial weaving. This weaving has commercially processed wool in seven colors. It has eight warps and thirty wefts (doubled) per inch. It was purchased at the Rug Auction, Crownpoint, NM, on March 21, 1997. An excellent weaving to be used as a floor piece or a hanging piece. It has four women in each corner. There is a hogan and pottery in each diamond shape. The banded area is natural wool.
