Navajo Weaving, 1900's Germantown, C006328

Germantown Navajo weaving from the 1900's measures 84 by 57 inches.

  • Germantown wool came down to the trading posts from Germantown, PA.  This three ply wool was highly desired for the colors and the crisp designs it gave the weavers. This weaving has natural brown and white wool and the red and rust are aniline dye. The simplicity of this large floor weaving is very striking and would make a handsome wall hanging.  The five by seven size is perfect for decorating the wall, floor or as a bed cover.
