Katsi is "Life" Exhibit

This special exhibit contains a collection of historic Katsina dolls created by Hopi and Zuni carvers and curated by Marion Cox, a Master's degree candidate from the Bard Graduate School in New York.

We're also featuring prints commissioned by Jesse Walter Fewkes, an anthropologist and zoologist who first visited the Zuni and Hopi Villages in 1890 and 1891. These drawings are from the 21st Annual Report for the Bureau of American Ethnology, published in 1903.

All items purchased from this collection will remain in the gallery until the end of the show on October 3.
