Roberto Banuelos works with his wife to create their pottery that is hand coiled and traditionally fired. Angela mixes the clays and polishes the pots, Roberto then paints and fires them. This tan colored pot has flecks of red on the surface that is a signature technique of Roberto's. The Mimbres style Iguanas are painted on with slip and also etched into to create the scales and details of the face. This pot is in perfect condition and signed on the bottom by Roberto.
