  • Mark Tahbo was well known for his traditional style of pottery and beautiful blushes on the fired surface. He has taken numerous ribbons, including first place and best of show, at major venues like the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum's annual Indian Market. He is the grandson of Grace Chapella. MIke Paveta is the grandson of Garnet Pavatea who was known for her redware.

This pot is a collaboration piece from two distinguished families. It is dated around 1989. It has a thickness to it in weight and observation. The design has beautiful line work with precision. Also, has a network of eyes that seem to be watching. It is captivating in every aspect.  It has no cracks or damages to it at all. A magnificent pot to add to your collection.
