Hopi carver Chester Poleyestewa has been making old traditional kachinas since he was a young boy. They are each made with cottonwood roots and a traditional style that has been passed down by each generation. The kachina is hand painted with natural dyes and mineral paints that Chester makes himself. To finish off he adds feathers, shells, and deer skin adornments. The mouse stands 10 1/4" tall and the widest point measures 7".
