The weaver of this fine Navajo rug had a great sense of color and design. This large floor rug is close to 7.5 by 5 feet in size and is woven with a finely spun yarn in an overall neutral color palette. Beautifully executed with a dynamic design this well cared for weaving is a great collector textile. Teec Nos Pos is an area in the North East corner of the Navajo Nation and means "Cottonwood in a Circle". The Teec style has a wide border with characters around it and the interior of the weavings are said by some to be reminiscent of the Oriental floor rugs but clearly these design elements are Navajo.
