Each of Chester Polyestewa's kachina dolls feature a style that is similar to those of the early 1800's. This kachina is made from a dead cottonwood root and features all natural paints and dyes. This style of kachina is one that has been passed down generation to generation. The antelope is hand painted and is finished off with adornments that Chester adds, such as feathers, goat hair, shells and turquoise. The kachina stands 12 1/4" tall and the widest point measures 7".
